The rain was non stop for several days, and every section of stream and river in the area is blown out over the banks. The water looks like the ind of coffee I like…dark and creamy. Which is not good for fishing, especially wade fishing where you really want to see where you are stepping.
Flies & Lies in Deckers…who never posts much of anything, loaded a video up on their FaceBook about the river and the conditions. It looks pretty much unfishable at the moment. They stated that the river was a lot better the closer you get to Cheesman Dam…I have a video on Cheeseman Canyon over on Youtube if you’re interested :)
I have been itching to get out and see the river, and certainly fish. With this new video for RMCAD due this week I need to get over there and get some new footage. Stay tuned for that one coming here by the end of the week.
